Location. Set on five manicured acres, the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn in Santa Barbara, Calif., offers unique "Santa Barbara Resort" style with Spanish influenced architecture. Quiet, yet less than two miles from popular attractions such as the Santa Barbara Mission and the Museum of Natural History, this hotel stands across the street from La Cumbre Plaza shops. As a welcome convenience to guests, the inn offers complimentary transportation to and from Santa Barbara Municipal Airport and the Amtrak station.
Hotel Features. On site, the Treehouse Restaurant and Lounge serves American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, the restaurant offers poolside dining and room service. Recreational facilities include two hand tiled outdoor pools, two spa tubs, and a fitness room with sauna and massage services. The lobby features a gift and sundries shop, and complimentary coffees, tea and fruit are provided in the lobby daily.
Guestrooms. The Best Western Pepper Tree Inn features 150 individually decorated guestrooms with private patios or balconies that overlook the pools and garden. Rooms feature refrigerators, coffeemakers and wall safes. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in all accommodations.
Expert Tip. A visit to the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, located two miles from the hotel, is well worth the trip. The Garden is dedicated to the conservation of California's native plants, and a number of cultural and social events are hosted there throughout the year. The garden stretches from the sea to the crest of the mountains, and is laced with beautiful pathways.
