The Julio Cesar Palace is part of Mare Nostrum Resort. It features a frontage distinguished with white balconies and along with the other hotels in the complex, forms a courtyard around a marble Roman style pool complete with statues. The hotel is also adjacent to the Playa de Camison beach. The 199 guestrooms feature cream and green d�cor with dark wood furnishing. All include air conditioning, separate sitting areas, cable television, hair dryers, safes, minibars, telephones and balconies with views of the Roman pool or Los Enamorados promenade.

The resort features thirteen restaurants covering a range of international cuisines. Guests can enjoy freshly grilled meat at the Argentinian Steak House, sample caviar at the Russian restaurant and try local specialties at the Julio Cesar Canarian Restaurant. There are Spanish, Italian and Mexican restaurants, an Andalusian taverna serving a tapas snacks, a pool bar and a seafood restaurant. The Piramide Restaurant offers a range of international dishes to the accompaniment of live opera or chamber music. Guests can also enjoy the resort's four swimming pools including a Roman style pool and naturist pool. The resort also has a children's pool. There is a fitness center on site, with a gym and an aerobics room and a spa offering massage, seaweed wraps, jet showers, sauna and facial treatments. Guests can take advantage of the resort's three tennis courts, two squash courts and mini golf complex. Yoga, tai chi sessions, table tennis and pool are also available. The hotel resort houses a mini club for children aged between four and sixteen, including a children's playground and offering a wide range of activities. Other amenities include a hair salon and gift shop. Guests can relax in one of three piano bars or enjoy a show in the auditorium. For those guests with business needs, the resort has a business center complete with conference rooms and a range of audio visual equipment. Nearby attractions include whale watching one kilometer away, Octopus Aquapark, two kilometers away, and Mount Teide National Park, which is 35 kilometers away. The nearest airport to the hotel is Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport which is 12 kilometers away at an approximate journey time of 15 minutes.

Driving Directions

Taxis are available in front of Arrivals. Buses also leave regularly from the airport and the bus 487 runs to Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Am�ricas, near the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the highway in the direction of Playa de Las Am�ricas. Exit at Los Cristianos and after 300 meters, turn right and go in the direction of Playa de Las Am�ricas. Continue to the end of the avenue and then turn left in the direction of El Camison. Take the first left again and the Mediterranean Palace will come into view. This blue building marks the start of the Mare Nostrum resort.
