The modern Aparthotel Caledonia Park is set in the hills, one kilometer from Playa de Las Americas Beach, on Tenerife's southern Adeje Coast. The hotel is close to a number of popular tourist attractions: guests can enjoy a range of water sports at Playa de Las Americas Beach, visit the Octopus Aquapark, 200 meters away; or enjoy colorful performances from the Tropicana Cuban dancing group, three kilometers away; and the Castillo San Miguel Show, ten kilometers away. Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport is 15 kilometers from the hotel. Taxis to Playa de Las Americas are available outside arrivals and cost around 16. Buses run hourly from the airport to the bus station in Playa de Las Americas.. For getting around, taxis on the island are relatively cheap at about 1 for 3 kilometers (2 miles), and there is also a bus network which services most of the main sites of interest. Bus Cards cost 12 and can be used for most journeys on the island. This method costs less than paying the driver in cash each time.
