The modern Hotel Agamenon is set on the water's edge, overlooking the harbor in the quiet Menorcan town of Es Castell, three kilometres from the city of Mahon. The 75 guestrooms have colorful contemporary decor and light wood furnishings, and all have balconies with sea views. Rooms are also equipped with cable television, direct dial phones, minibars and safes.
Guests can start the day with a buffet breakfast and browse the morning newspapers, before lazing on the sunny terraces with a cocktail and cooling off with a refreshing dip in the pool. In the evenings, guests can enjoy the international buffet, as well as typical Menorcan cuisine, in the bright modern restaurant with large windows overlooking the gardens. Guests heading out for a day's sightseeing can make use of the currency exchange at the 24 hour front desk and ask the multilingual staff for any tour advice. The best way to see the island is by renting a car and guests can visit nearby attractions, such as Cala Padera Beach, 800 meters away, Mahon Port, three kilometers, and the Fort of Malborough, five kilometers. Mahon Airport is nine kilometers or about a 20 minute drive from the hotel.
