The Hotel Poseidon Playa is a modern high rise hotel in Benidorm, laid out over 17 floors, and 60 meters from Poniente beach. The 306 guestrooms include terraces with sea views, air conditioning in summer, direct dial phones, satellite television and bathrooms decorated in marble. The room rate is half board and includes buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner.

Further afield, Terra Mitica theme park, Terra Natura a theme park with an environmental theme and the Aqualandia water park are all five kilometers from the hotel. For a flavor of Spanish history, Guadalest Castle is 20 kilometers away. Alicante Airport (ALC) is 60 kilometers from the hotel. Taxis are available at the airport. Scheduled buses also run every 30 minutes to/from Alicante central bus station.
