Location. Overlooking Bandaras Bay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, stands the ten story Presidente InterContinental Puerto Vallarta Resort. The property opens onto private white, sandy beaches, allowing immediate access to snorkeling and diving. Los Arcos Ecological Underwater Park is located two kilometres from the hotel. Three kilometres from the property is Mismaloya Beach.
Hotel Features. Decorated in earth tones, the expansive lobby of the resort promotes an unenclosed atmosphere. Accented with polished marble floors, a grand piano and granite columns, the fifth floor restaurant, Alfredo di Roma Restaurant, serves international and Italian dishes. Offering ocean views, Frutas y Flores provides Mexican and international cuisines in an open patio setting. Cana Brava serves light lunches and beverages adjacent to the outdoor pool and spa tub. Located on the premises are tennis courts, fitness facilities and a sauna providing massage services.
Guestrooms. Cream colored walls embellished with colorful prints are illuminated by natural light from broad windows within the 120 guestrooms of the Presidente InterContinental Puerto Vallarta Resort. Lime and eggshell colored fabrics provide contrasts to white tiled floors in each room. Rooms include cable television, DVD players, CD players and high speed Internet access. Standard amenities include minibars and security safes.
Expert Tip. Between the months of June and December, many endangered sea turtles will lay eggs along the beaches of Puerto Vallarta. The young turtles will emerge during this time frame and make their way to the ocean. The Presidente InterContinental Puerto Vallarta Resort allows guests the opportunity to witness this event, called a release, from its private beach.
