Location. Polihotels Villa D'Annunzio is modern Tuscan villa style hotel with neo classical features enjoying a peaceful location, surrounded by greenery, three kilometres from Florence centre and eight kilometres from Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR).
Hotel Features. The swimming pool and the lush gardens that surround it are a rare treat this close to the centre of Florence. The pool has a diving board at one end and the shade of the overhanging trees at the other. The small patio and lawns are dotted with sun loungers and pool furniture. Practical amenities include laundry facilities, room service and free parking.
Guestrooms. The 82 guestrooms are simply decorated with cream walls and terracotta tiled floors; all include air conditioning, cable television, desks with direct dial phones, dial up Internet access and minibars.
Expert Tip. With so much to see, Florence can be daunting. A good street map is essential: Firenze: Pianta della Citta, sold at newsstands, is accessible and reliable.

Getting there. Take the free shuttle bus to the centre of Florence, then take bus 10 or 17 towards V. le Duse/Via D'Annunzio. A taxi direct to the hotel will cost around EUR 25.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the signs for the city centre, then signs for Football Stadium/Centro Tecnico Federale. The hotel is on the same street as the football centre.
