The Athenaeum House Hotel is a boutique hotel set in ten acres of parkland and situated one and a half miles from the attractions of Waterford City Centre. The 29 guestrooms have contemporary decor in a combination of rich and smoky colours with dark wood furnishings. All bathrooms come in white with bathrobes, slippers, toiletries and hair dryer. Modern amenities include flat screen television, mini stereos, direct dial phones, Internet connections, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel restaurant served modern Irish and European cuisine, prepared using top quality local ingredients, alongside stunning views of the River Suir and Waterford city; guests can also dine al fresco on the heated balcony and enjoy live piano music on Saturday evenings.
