Location. Breaffy International Hotel is set in Castlebar, Ireland, 18 kilometres from Westport town centre. Croagh Patrick is 27 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Breaffy International Hotel is set in central Castlebar and offers a Centre for Sports Training and Excellence. The sports centre was inspired and designed by international rugby legend Keith Wood, and includes a 30,000 square foot sports arena, two training pitches, an astro turf pitch, and a specialised Olympic gym.
Legend's Bar and Bistro offers informal bistro dining overlooking Breaffy's grounds, and opens for breakfast and dinner. Legend's bar serves drinks among a themed decor with sporting paraphernalia.
Guestrooms. There are 120 guestrooms overlooking the hotel's grounds. All rooms offer welcome trays and satellite television.
Expert Tip. The Museum of Country Life is located in Turlough, nine kilometres from the hotel. The museum's exhibitions portray the lives of ordinary people who lived in rural Ireland between 1850 and 1950. Exhibitions include Romanticism and Reality, Activities in the Home, Life in the Community, and Forces of Change.

Distance to Breaffy International Hotel is 24 miles, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Shuttle buses run to Charlestown, where local and national bus networks are available. For a quicker service, taxis are also available. The closest train station is in Ballyhaunis, which is 12.5 miles away. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Castlebar has good bus services throughout the town centre and connecting the West to the rest of the country. For those looking to explore further around the country, a car is the best option.
Driving directions. From Knock Airport.
Take the N17 to Claremorris.
Take the N60 from Claremorris to Castlebar.
The Breaffy House Resort is on the left hand side as you approach Castlebar.
