Location. The Meandros Hotel is located in the resort of Kalamaki, Greece, on the island of Zakynthos, 300 metres from the sandy Kalamaki Beach and three kilometres from Zakynthos town centre. Zakynthos Airport (ZTH) is three kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Opened in 2007, the Meandros Hotel is a modern, Mediterranean style hotel on two storeys, accessible by lift. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and spa tub, with sun terrace, sun loungers, and umbrellas. There is also a separate children's pool. Currency exchange is available at the 24 hour front desk where staff can assist with hotel facilities, transport, and tourist advice. Complimentary shuttle transfer to and from the airport is included. Discounted rates on car and motorbike hire are available and complimentary parking is provided.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning. Drinks, snacks and light meals are available from the poolside bar throughout the day and evening. Room service is available (limited hours).
Bicycles and scooters can be rented nearby. Jet skis and pedalos can be hired on the beach and horse riding can be organised a short distance away.
Guestrooms. The Hotel Meandros' 40 air conditioned guestrooms have high ceilings, tiled floors, and balconies with views of the pool or garden. Decor and furnishings are neutral and modern. All rooms have climate control and are equipped with televisions, direct dial phones, safes, and minibars.
Expert Tip. Visitors should keep their distance from the marked nesting sites of Mediterranean sea turtles on Kalamaki and Laganas beaches, as eggs are easily destroyed by curious tourists.

From Zakynthos Airport (ZTH):
Distance to Meandros Hotel is 3 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Regular public buses link the airport to Zakynthos town and other resorts on the island. Taxis are available from outside the Arrivals Hall. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service.
Getting around. Zakynthos town can be explored on foot. Public buses run between the towns and resorts on the island and boats depart from the harbour, linking up seaside villages and resorts. Passenger ferries connect Zakynthos with Athens, Patra, Thessalonica and the Peloponnese. Small boats can be privately hired to explore coastal areas.
