The 10 storey Best Western Christina Hotel, with its Japanese style gardens and waterfalls, faces the Gave River in the center of Lourdes. The hotel is overlooked by the majestic Pyrennes mountains, which are 25 kilometres away. Lourdes' main attraction, the Sanctuaries, is just 400 meters away. With views of the Pyrennes or hotel gardens, all rooms come complete with balconies, and wireless Internet access. Other amenities include; coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryers.
Guests can enjoy an evening drink on the garden patio, buy a few souvenirs in the onsite shops, or relax in the sauna. The hotel also offers rollaway beds, room service, and an onsite restaurant, whose specialities include duck and lamb dishes. Five million pilgrims, including many seeking cures for illnesses, converge on Lourdes every year. The hotel is 400 meters from to the Grotto de Massabielle, which was where Bernadette Soubirous, the 14 year old peasant girl, is said to have seen the Virgin Mary and the pools, in which 400,000 people immerse themselves annually. Visitors can also try the water sweets from the Malespine pastille factory, which are made from the water of Lourdes grotto. Tarbes Ossun Lourdes Airport is 15 minutes and 10 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving directions: From Tarbes Ossun Lourdes Airport, turn right onto the D921A for 450 meters, then make a right onto the N21. Follow this road towards Lourdes center. At Lourdes, continue along Avenue Alexandre Marqui, before turning right onto Rue De Pau (D937) for 60 meters. Continue along Boulevard Pere Remy Sempe (D13) for 350 meters, then turn left onto Avenue Bernadette Soubirous for 200 meters, before making a right turn into Avenue Peyramale. The hotel is at number 42.
