Location. The Splendid Hotel is located in Varna, Bulgaria, 500 metres from Varna Cathedral. The city beaches, and the nightclubs and bars of the waterfront promenade are within two kilometres. The airport is 10 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Splendid Hotel is a grand cornerhouse mansion, which is lit up spectacularly at night. The 100 year old building was refurbished in 2005. Guests can relax over coffee and a complimentary newspaper in the lobby, or browse the web via the hotel's complimentary Internet connections. A gift shop is available on site, and the multilingual staff offer a range of concierge services including tour assistance, room service, and laundry facilities. Conference and meeting rooms are also available along with business and translation services.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, which also offers Bulgarian and international dishes. A vegetarian menu is available.
Guestrooms. The 26 air conditioned rooms have LCD satellite television, complimentary high speed Internet connections, minibars, and direct dial phones. Bathrooms come with bathrobes, slippers and hair dryers, along with complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Asparuhov Bridge is two kilometres long and 50 metres high, making it a very popular attraction for bungee jumpers.

Distance to the Splendid Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The bus 409 leaves from the airport and stops right outside the hotel. Airport transport is also available for a surcharge.
Getting around. It is possible to walk around most of the attractions in Varna.
