Location. The Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort is located in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, 80 metres from the seafront and seven kilometres north of the ancient town of Nessebar.
Hotel Features. This modern eight storey beach hotel complex on the Black Sea features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, an open air gym and jetted tub, and beauty and massage treatments. There is a mini club for kids and a separate children's pool. Currency exchange and safe deposit boxes are located at the 24 hour front desk where multilingual staff can assist with hotel facilities and travel arrangements, and complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.
The hotel's modern buffet restaurant serves a variety of international dishes for lunch and dinner. Drinks and light snacks are available throughout the day at the poolside bar. A half board rate plan is offered, including buffet breakfast and dinner.
The beach offers a range of activities including volleyball, water skiing, sailing, parasailing and fishing. There is also a children's playground. Tennis courts and miniature golf are located in the vicinity and bicycle hire is offered on site. There are two children's swimming pools at the resort and entertainment and activities programmes for all ages.
Guestrooms. The 636 air conditioned guestrooms have light modern decor with balconies facing the sea, pool or garden. All have satellite television, direct dial phones, high speed Internet, minibars, safes and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. Ruled by a succession of empires during the past 4,000 years, the town of Nessebar has a rich history. Greek and Roman ruins can still be found along with 40 churches comprising different styles of religious architecture dating back to the middle ages.

From Bourgas Airport (BOJ):
Distance to the Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and cost approximately 100 BGN to the Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort. Price subject to change.
Getting around. A shuttle service runs from Sunny Beach to Nessebar and public buses travel between the coastal resorts and tourist attractions. Nessebar and Bourgas are easily explored on foot. A car is useful for exploring more remote areas.
