The Eagles Astoria is a typically Tyrolean hotel and health resort situated by the ski lifts on a woodland plateau, five kilometres above Innsbruck. The 38 guestrooms, over three floors, are simply and individually decorated and have south facing balconies with mountain views. Amenities include cable television, complimentary wireless Internet connections, telephones, slippers and safes. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, bathrobes, hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
After a day on the mountain, guests can relax and revitalise in the full service health spa, which offers a sauna, hot tub, an indoor pool, and a range of indulgent massage and beauty treatments. The Eagles restaurant serves hearty, healthy food in typically Tyrolean surroundings, liberally decorated with fresh flowers. Guests can choose to have their dinner individually tailored to their constitution by way of pulse diagnosis a technique derived from traditional Chinese medicine. The coffee shop and bar serve a selection of drinks throughout the day. Multilingual staff can offer advice on sightseeing opportunities in the area, and guests can do their own research via complimentary wireless Internet access. Other amenities include room service, a billiards table, dry cleaning services and ski storage facilities. The hotel is located right next to the ski lift and piste. Three kilometres away, guests can visit Castle Ambras and enjoy a spin on the Olympic ice rink. Innsbruck old town is six kilometres from the hotel. Innsbruck airport is ten kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Taxis are readily available outside the terminal; approximate fare 17 EUR. Buses run from the airport to Innsbruck city centre and the main train station every 15 minutes. At the station, take route 'J' in the direction of Patscherkofel. The train stops outside the hotel.
